Meet our GM

Arno Kamm joined Roche Services and Solutions, APAC as General Manager on 1 January 2021. In his new role, Arno will play a critical role in leading RSS APAC’s continuous growth strategy as the organisation expands to support Roche affiliates throughout the Asia Pacific region with our growing portfolio of services covering IT, Finance, Procurement and HR services.

Having worked for Roche for more than 20 years, Arno brings solid experience and skills from various roles held in Finance supporting Research, Global Product Development, Manufacturing and Partnering Functions.

Prior to his appointment in APAC, Arno was RSS Affiliate Model Programme (RAMP) Lead from April 2020, after building up and leading BPM Transactional Finance Pharma for almost 2 years as Global Business Process Owner (GBPO). Before moving into the role as GBPO Transactional Finance in 2018, he worked in the Pharma affiliate in Germany as Head of Business Controlling. Arno holds a master’s degree from the University of Applied Science in Pforzheim.

Learning to accurately assess and understand my own and others’ perspective, so that I am able to empathically connect with others and support them effectively.

Actively listening and leveraging diverse perspectives to perform out-of-the-box thinking in order to achieve the best solutions for our patients. This is quite prevalent in our culture and instills a spirit of innovation, which makes working at Roche really unique.

I get busy in my kitchen and whip up some of my favourite cuisines or head out for some mountain-biking and just sweat it out in the outdoors.

For two reasons. Firstly, from a career perspective - I feel Roche Services & Solutions APAC is in a strategic position to evolve as a key transformation partner for Roche. The second reason is the energy that Malaysia and the APAC team has to offer. I am very happy to be here.
